I’ll change the world
By Jazmine Willis
So many people
raise their hands when a singer onstage tells them to,
But when you ask
for volunteers for a missions trip, there are only a few.
We drive in cars
to go to work while others have no work at all,
And constantly we
complain about our weather; winter, spring, summer, fall.
America has been blessed by God to have as much
prosperity as it does.
Some people like
to shut God out and say that that’s just because
We have morals,
rights, and wrongs and government while those other countries do not,
But let me ask you
this question who is going to help us out when we are in a tight spot?
If we don’t start
reaching out to those who are hurting now,
Who is going to
reach back out to us when we are feeling down?
This principal can
be used in your simple everyday life,
By helping others,
making “magic” happen in others lives and keeping down all the strife.
So the next time
someone asks me to donate a measly, little, old dollar
I’ll change the
world and be the one to adopt someone elses new-born daughter.
