Anger

What do I do: If I want a Christian perspective?

“Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires.” (James 1:19-20)

“The LORD is gracious and compassionate; slow to anger and rich in love.” (Psalm 145:8)

“A quick-tempered man acts foolishly” (Proverbs 14:17a)

Anger can take hold of a person’s life and can keep them from being all that God desires for them to become. God wants you to be free from anger that can control you and can cause problems for your life. Even though you may feel like you have tried over and over to control your anger and like there is no hope, God wants to help and can completely change your life. The place to begin to allow God to change your life is through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
