Dawson’s work is done. But ours will go on…

Our beloved friend and ministry leader, Dawson McAllister, was called home to heaven on Thursday, December 17, 2020.

We are deeply saddened — but more committed than ever to the vision of his ministry: to reach, rescue, and restore teenagers and young adults through the power of God’s unfailing love.

Although we are stunned by the unexpected loss of our leader, the Dawson McAllister Association is stronger than ever…with a clear plan in place…positioned by the Lord “for such a time as this.”

And because we are dedicated, like Dawson was, to running “a rescue shop within a yard of hell,” we are also committed to continuing the efforts of TheHopeLine with as much intensity as ever.

By God’s grace, and through your support, we will continue to show the Lord’s great love…and Dawson’s beautiful compassion…to this lost and hurting generation.

TheHopeLine.com currently attracts more than 3.5 million visitors a year from 167 countries — ministering hope and healing to 13- to 29-year-olds here in the United States and all around the world, all to God’s glory.

But today there is increased urgency for hope — young people are hurting. They need direction. They need truth. And they need Jesus Christ. We are committed to reach them, rescue them, and restore their lives.

So we will press forward, inspired by Dawson’s rich legacy, and begin Phase One of a carefully and prayerfully planned digital expansion to reach more young adults with God’s love and care. This will include:

  1. Completing virtual coaching technology, which will allow us to dramatically increase our online chats and provide additional resources for teens and young adults searching for answers.
  2. Expanding TheHopeLine’s reach and partnering with new, and fully vetted, organizations to impact more youth than ever before.
  3. Dramatically increasing our prayer ministry — including The Prayer Show with Rachel Cardinal and nationwide virtual prayer events.
  4. Expanding a Core Coaching team which will chat live on-line with thousands of teens and young adults in crisis. Providing clear thinking, right values and hope in Jesus.

We warmly invite you to partner with us as the Lord leads you today…for America’s youth and in loving memory of our founder and friend, Dawson McAllister.

He gave encouragement, hope, and help to those needing it for over six decades. Now, it’s our turn, yours and mine. Together, by God’s grace, let’s continue the mission:

Reach.

Rescue.

And Restore Lives!

Thank you.
