Suicide – I want to commit suicide

Suicide – I want to commit suicide

Gretchen Lawson: It is normal and natural for life to feel and seem really overwhelming at times. And I hear you saying that you’re having thoughts of suicide. I’m so glad that you’re watching this video, and I want you to know that you matter. You are valuable despite the intensity of your feelings right now. Your feelings and your thoughts are lying to you. The world would not be a better place without you. The world needs you. You have a future. And if you decide to not choose to listen to those lies, you can see that future and it might be amazing. I encourage you to reach out to the people you know, love you and care about you. Get support. Talk to people about how you’re thinking and what you’re feeling.
