Loneliness – What are some tips to get past loneliness?

Gretchen Lawson: I think it’s important to remember that some of the thoughts and feelings that we have around loneliness can feel urgent, can feel always, or never. It’s so important to recognize when you have those words in your thinking and to talk back to your thoughts. To be able to say, “I feel this way now, I won’t feel this way always. I will be able to make friends.” There are things I can do like engaging with other people, talking to other people, sharing who you are with other people. People want to know who you are.
